‘A good photo tells a story’.
My name is Jan Cor van Manen(1980). I am a photographer and works from Vianen (Utrecht) throughout The Netherlands.
A good photo tells a story. It is a representation of a moment of time. It makes a photo vulnerable and strong at the same time. That is what the saying ‘a picture tells more than a thousand words’ is there for. I like making photographs with depths so that the viewer may keep on looking. This is what I am trying to achieve in photography.
Portrait photography, Corporate photography, Product photography and Landscape photography
As a photographer I am regularly asked for portrait photography, corporate photography, product photography and landscape photography. The pictures are taken in the country, at home, at a company or in a studio.
